Gli uccelli si riuniscono per scegliere il proprio sovrano e la fiera aquila reale reclama subito il trono. Nessuno osa sfidarla — tranne il minuscolo scricciolo, che con calma si offre di dimostrare il proprio valore. L’aquila accetta la scommessa: chi volerà più in alto nel cielo indosserà la corona.

The birds gather to choose their sovereign, and the proud golden eagle immediately claims the throne. No one dares challenge him — except the tiny kinglet, who calmly offers to prove himself. The eagle accepts the wager: whoever flies highest in the sky will wear the crown.

Paul Jadoul

Paul Jadoul è un regista di animazione belga nato nel 1984. Dopo il diploma a La Cambre nel 2007, ha fondato lo studio di animazione L’Enclume insieme a tre colleghi. Lavora con tecniche 3D e 2D in cortometraggi e lungometraggi, unendo grafica tradizionale e strumenti contemporanei. Musica e ritmo hanno un ruolo centrale nelle atmosfere visive che crea.

Paul Jadoul is a Belgian animation director born in 1984. After graduating from La Cambre in 2007, he founded the animation studio L’Enclume with three fellow graduates. He works with both 3D and 2D techniques across short and feature-length projects, combining traditional graphic approaches with contemporary tools. Music and rhythm play a central role in the visual atmospheres he creates.
