Proprio quando sta per ritirarsi nel silenzio dell’ibernazione, un riccio si accorge che gli manca un aculeo. Dopo un’attenta ricerca, scopre che è rimasto conficcato nel posto più improbabile: il sedere del cane di Lena. Recuperarlo si rivela tutt’altro che semplice e costringe il riccio a rimandare il riposo per affrontare una piccola, grande avventura. Con ironia e tenerezza, il film racconta l’imprevisto come occasione di incontro e di coraggio, trasformando un disagio in un percorso di crescita. Un racconto leggero sull’importanza di affrontare le difficoltà, anche quando arrivano nel momento meno opportuno.

Just as a hedgehog is about to settle into hibernation, he notices that one of his spines is missing. The discovery leads to an unexpected and awkward truth: it is stuck in the bottom of Lena’s dog. Retrieving it proves far more complicated than expected, forcing the hedgehog to postpone rest and face an unforeseen challenge. Told with humor and warmth, the film turns a small mishap into a meaningful journey, showing how discomfort and delay can open the door to courage and connection. A playful reflection on resilience, problem-solving, and facing obstacles—even when they appear at the worst possible time.

Elena Walf

Dopo la laurea in design presso la Moscow State University of Printing Arts nel 2004, Elena avvia la sua carriera come illustratrice, collaborando con riviste per l’infanzia e case editrici in Russia, Germania, Taiwan e Corea del Sud. Nel 2015 si diploma presso l’Institute of Animation, Visual Effects and Digital Postproduction della Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. Vive e lavora a Stoccarda come regista, animatrice e designer, con opere dedicate al pubblico giovane.

After graduating in design from the Moscow State University of Printing Arts in 2004, Elena began her career as an illustrator, collaborating with children’s magazines and publishers across Russia, Germany, Taiwan, and South Korea. In 2015 she completed her studies at the Institute of Animation, Visual Effects and Digital Postproduction at Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. She now works in Stuttgart as a director, animator, and designer, creating visually rich works for young audiences.
