Per molti, gli escrementi degli uccelli sono soltanto un fastidio. Per uno straordinario stormo di uccelli incapaci di volare, sono invece il fondamento stesso della vita. Il loro mondo nascosto vive in un equilibrio delicato, finché un oggetto misterioso arriva sulla riva. Quella che nasce come semplice curiosità apre presto la strada a un cambiamento culturale e tecnologico, costringendo gli uccelli a confrontarsi con il prezzo del progresso.

For most creatures, bird droppings are only a nuisance. For a remarkable flock of flightless birds, they are the very foundation of life. Their hidden world lives in delicate balance until a mysterious object washes ashore. What begins as curiosity soon opens the door to cultural and technological change, forcing the birds to face the price of progress.

Tomek Ducki

Tomek Ducki, noto anche come dr. Tamás János Ducki, è un regista di animazione e designer ungherese-polacco nato a Budapest. Ha studiato alla Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design in Ungheria e alla National Film and Television School nel Regno Unito. Con base in Polonia, collabora con artisti e studi su cortometraggi, videoclip e progetti visivi. Il suo stile unisce tecniche di animazione diverse, colori ipnotici e livelli narrativi nascosti.

Tomek Ducki, also known as dr. Tamás János Ducki, is a Hungarian-Polish animation director and designer born in Budapest. He studied at Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design in Hungary and at the National Film and Television School in the United Kingdom. Based in Poland, he works with artists and studios on short films, music videos and visual projects. His style combines different animation techniques, striking colour palettes and hidden narrative layers.
