Carlo Verdone is an Italian actor, director and screenwriter born in Rome in 1950. Son of film critic Mario Verdone, he began in cabaret and television, creating characters inspired by the habits and neuroses of everyday Italians. After his debut with Un sacco bello, produced by Sergio Leone, he confirmed his success with Bianco, rosso e Verdone. Over a career spanning decades, he has moved between pure comedy and more introspective tones.
